Apple says - We are not expensive anymore !!


Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference opened on Monday. On the very first day, Apple made some key announcements about its impression as always giving Expensive Products. The message was clear - "We are not expensive anymore..."

Apple made it quite clear that they have now changed their attitude and moving towards giving cost effective products.

Apple announced its decision to keep the 8GB iPhone 3G and to sell it at $99!!! A surprising and positive move by Apple!!

Not only iPhone, but Apple has announced price cut in all of its products. Here are some details that were announced on Apple's WWDC on Monday, 9th June 2009:

  1. 8GB iPhone 3G at $99
  2. MacBook Pro 15-inch and MacBook Air also received price cuts
  3. The new Mac OS X 10.6, known as Snow Leopard, will cost current Mac OS X 10.5 owners just $29 to upgrade
  4. Newly introduced 13-inch MacBook Pro to the MacBook Air starts at $1,199
  5. 15-inch MacBook Air starts at $1,699 ( both has to battery life, the screen technology, and a new SD card slot. )
  6. The MacBook Air price starting at $1,499 for the low-end Air and $1,799, down from $2,499, for the high-end version packed with a 128GB solid-state drive.
