Mozilla announced the Concept Series project in August 2008. It has been almost an year today. Mozilla says "The objective behind the Concept Series is to provoke thought, facilitate discussion, and inspire future design directions for Firefox, the Mozilla project, and the Web as a whole."
Google Labs started with the same concept and day by day it is increasing the involvement of developers across the globe. Mozilla is already on the Google way after introducing Concept Series. Again it has an added advantage of an Open Source.
However, the challenge right now is Mozilla doesn't have a structured way for developers to contribute to the Concept Series. The only ways to contribute to Concept Series are third party tools like Blogs, Social Community Sites, Vimeo, Youtube or Flickr or similar tools.
Mozilla yet to open up its own platform to share and allow developers to contribute their concepts and ideas...
