With love from Google Labs - Cool experiments

Google Labs is experimenting new things every day. Lots of APIs, lots of plugins, lots of advanced features....Here is a sneak peak to some of the coolest and upcoming experiements from Google Labs for you...

Fusion Tables is a service for managing large collections of tabular data in the cloud. You can upload tables of up to 100MB and share them with collaborators, or make them public. You can apply filters and aggregation to your data, visualize it on maps and other charts, merge data from multiple tables, and export it to the Web or csv files. You can also conduct discussions about the data at several levels of granularity, such as rows, columns and individual cells.

2.Google Squared
Google Squared is an experimental tool that takes a category (like US presidents, roller coasters, or digital cameras) and attempts to create a starter "square" of information, automatically fetching and organizing facts from across the web. You can modify your square by removing rows and columns you don't like--or by adding new rows and columns and having Google Squared attempt to fetch the relevant facts. Verify and correct the facts in your square by exploring the original sources and investigating other possible values. If you're happy with your square you can save it and come back to it later. Google Squared does the grunt work for you, making research fast and easy.

3. Similar Images
Similar Images allows you to search for images using pictures rather than words. With the similar images feature, most images have a link below them that lets you find other images like them. There's no need for you to refine the text of your query. Your new results will be tailored based on whatever image you select. So if you see an image you like but you're stumped on how to describe it, just click the similar images link to see "more like this."

This can be of a great help especially to web and graphic designers. Also for someone who is collecting pics round the globe.

4. Flu Trends
Google Flu Trends provides up-to-date estimates of flu activity in the United States and Mexico based on aggregated search queries. Data can be viewed on the Flu Trends website or downloaded as a CSV file for analysis. We've found that certain search terms are good indicators of flu activity. Google Flu Trends uses aggregated Google search data to estimate possible flu activity at a state level in near real-time.
