Microsoft's Bing is finally out - Check out bing.com

I just posted an article on this same blog today about Micorosoft planning to invest $100 Million on Ad Campaign to spread the word about Bing. And now I found that finally Microsoft's Bing is out. With Bing, Microsoft is all set to come back with a bang in the Search Engine World.

Microsoft announced this at the D7 conference on May 28, 09. www.bing.com or www.decisionengine.com is already live with "coming soon" and few videos. Bing's slogan right now is "Bing - Better way to search". Microsoft claims that Bing is a next generation search engine which will not only give search results to the internet user but will also help them to take decision. According to Microsoft, Bing is a decision engine rather than a search engine. Microsoft is reasoning: Customers are ready to move “beyond search” and Bing will help them make better decisions.

Microsoft is claiming that Bing comes with number of improvements in “core search areas, including entity extraction and expansion, query intent recognition and document summarization technology. Along with user experience model that dynamically adapts to the type of query to provide relevant and intuitive decision-making tools,” according to the company’s press release.

However Microsoft explains that with its new decision engine, its only motive is to move up in the search market. According to comScore data, the company’s search-query share has barely buoyed above eight percent for the past year-plus. Google continues to completely dominate the category with more than 60 percent share. Yahoo, Microsoft’s former takeover target, has weighed in with 20 percent or so.

So why don't we take a look at Bing.com and decide whether we want to continue to "google it" or switch over to "bing it".
